Mortal Online is now in open beta.
It has progressed greatly since I checked out beta 6 months ago.
If they remove stat loss for PK’s and provide US based hosting it might be worth checking out.

Since the beginning of Darkfall we have been really busy and have some notable accomplishments:

1) First to form a guild.

2) First to plant a city.

3) First to defeat a major zerg (The rainbow alliance)

This morning Darkfall Online actually came… Online. Despite some syncing issues that the devs are aware about, we were able to secure creating the first guild in the game, and the first player city in the game. Stay tuned, it is estimated by the end of the day we will have beat the game and moved onto something new.
