Hexen]Shot a bunch of .454 Casull's. With a full load the recoil is pretty heavy, but with a half load anybody can shoot it. They're popular where I'm from for protection against bears, but I'm skeptical that they would actually kill one unless it was a particularly good shot. The annoying part is how fucking noisy they are.
My dad got the titanium .44 magnum instead of the .454 Casull. I never have fired one of them but I hear it's basically an elephant gun.
Yeah some people put scopes on them and use them to bear hunt, which looks cool, but I think you're really better off with a rifle. When we bought a .454, the recoil on the first shot brought the gun up and it hit my dad in the face and cut him with the sight lol.
