Honestly, our national pride is in "thinking" we are good peace keepers. In reality we are like 37th in the world in peace keeping forces, ill equiped . bad deal.
Its more I think to convince the world we are nice people, and to keep our national pride going then helping. O we do help but just not enough. And of course not ragging on the US for their Iraq treatment, we got no place complaining since we killed Somolies and had beaten and rape on our guard.
