I read this on fox news, aperantly Saudi arabia is about fed up with the terrorists bombing their country and killing their own people. Saudis Give Terrorists Month to Surrender,
Crown Prince Abdullah (search) read the brief announcement on behalf of his half-brother, King Fahd, on state television Wednesday.
He said the offer was open to anyone who has not yet been "arrested for carrying out terrorist acts."
"We are opening the door of amnesty ... to everyone who deviated from the path of right and committed a crime in the name of religion, which is in fact a corruption on earth," he said.
"We swear by God that nothing will prevent us from striking with our full might" anyone who ignores the offer, Abullah said.
the middle east is about to get a bit more interesting.

HOnestly I dont think this would have happend if we were not in Iraq right now. We are setting a huge example to the rest of the Middle eastern countries. If they want to hold terror cells in there country, then the US will rat tat tat on there door. The middle eastern countries realize right now that their country would not do so well with hundred of thousands of US troops occupying their land. Therefor they will take action and plug a few terrorists for us.

Is the loss of US lives trying to prevent civilian casaulties. IF this were a real war where even the citizens outwardly opposed the US and tried to fight us anywhere on the planet just because we are American, then Total War would ensue and any given country would be decimated.
But since we are doing this policing/transition, our troops who get dick for support/reinforcements from our administration will suffer.

I'm not all that up to date with politics, but aren't the Saudis and Bush pretty tight?
Take it for what it's worth, but elections are creeping up and an announcement like this does nothing but help Bush's image. Seems to me that Bush is pulling a few strings to help his campaign.
I could be totally off on this, but it's just the way I'm seeing it.

So any country that has terrorist, or people that ithe USA considers a terrorist that has YET to attack the USA, these countries will be invaded and overthrowen and given freedom ? The Arabs have been fighting [ WITH ALL INFO WE HAVE HERE IN THE GREAT UNWASH } witin their own country man , for their own reasons. Invade again... Amercia for one is not powerful enough to invade S.A. sorry, number too stay of the worlds affairs lest you take on to much.
