not only is bush not articulate, but he drives me fucking crazy w/his religious bullshit.
dna/cloning = good fucking science that gets swept under the carpet by zealouts
homo marriages = i think its a godamn waste of time to try and stop this shit. we have more important issues on the table.
but noooo, the texas dipshit doesn't have enough on his plate <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
anyway, im traditionally a republican, but i can't stand bush because of those 2 issues alone. hes a zealot and he lets jesus run our country. the war in iraq was based off bad intel -- and both kerry and bush are idiots when it comes to foreign policy anyway. the economy is shit, and im starting to miss clinton =D
is it too godamn much to want a viable 3rd party candidate? <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
i give up, this country will keep on keepin' on no matter who wins.

A small business can be very relative. I know small businesses that produce seven figure incomes for the owners on as little as 10 Million in revenue. I still consider what my brothers and I own to be a small business and we employ 284 people.
2004 has been a great year for my company and I expect it to finish stronger than the first half of 2004. The most important part is the very mature industries we market to are having a revival as well. They are seeing numbers they have not approached since 1996. While pricing has been slow to recover, volume is back to levels that for the first time in nearly eight years has them adding capacity, buying machinery, raising prices, and adding jobs. My business has grown tremendously in these eight years mainly from kicking the crap out of very large companies that has lost touch with there market not from industry growth. Nearly 65% of my revenue is tied to these mature industries, ( Thought of the Day: Diversify, Diversify, Diversify ) and for the first time in eight years those mature markets are growing at rates thought to have been things of the past.
Tich I don't spread a lot of my personal life or business around on the internet but your welcome to message me privately if you care to discuss my business and how I feel about both candidates as they pertain to my self interests.

I believe Kerry has been consistent in what he stands for. The way his flip-flopping is framed is a simplified reduction to a much larger puzzle. Nuanced voting records are all over the Senate (and less so in the House). Its how the American system of government works at that level. Not voting for a $10 billion weapons system does not mean you are anti-military, you just think that $10 billion is better spent elsewhere.

You keep talking about Kerry's vote being nuanced. What a load of crap. What if the vote was 49-against and 50-for (VP Cheney breaks ties). Is Kerry going to vote against; as he did. In this scenario, he is flip-flopping on his previos statement of no senator would abandon our troops. If he votes for, then he is using his vote for political cover from the anti-war crowd in his party. So dont give his vote was nuanced crap.
As for Kerry's voting record in the senate. Ok, i can cut him slack on a few votes against the military, because those votes are tied into larger bills. But you can't explain ALL of Kerry's voting record that way. He has consistently voted against the militaary and intelligence. So stop using Kerry is soooo nuanced, its not flying.

That's cool man. No need to tell me anymore than you did. I feel like I have a better understanding of where you are coming from. I guess I was curious to know what types of policies that Bush has implemented that helped out your business. Maybe there were certain types of tax cuts or reductions in regulatory restrictions that particularly helped your business or businesses of similar size and scope.
Anyway, I understand you not wanting to throw that shit out here in public, so I'm happy to leave it where it stands.
Thanks for the discussion Couls.

This is classic. Fahrenheit 9/11 anyone?

Lets see if you guys can rebut his own words..
Kerry, Dates, times, places and footage. Dispute this flip flopping....
They even let him fully explain himself in much of this video.
