Not sure if any one else has seen this yet. Curious how the hardware will plug into a computer as well...
Its for a PPU (physics processing unit)
A chip that does all the 3d physic computations. So its possible to have more realistic affects.

j/k, it's not. Looks like a very cool idea since physics is one of the most processor intensive operations. Z Ordering you can trick, physics is a bitch to trick.

I have secret info that the next generation nintendo console will be the only next gen console with a piece of hardware simular to this. While the xbox 2 and PS3 will still depend upon their 3-4 processor cores to handle all the work.
Nintendos secret weapon to win the console battle. It could happen.
