Galaga arcade style at the a sub stand in Chicago, I was so excited I ran around asking everyone in the building for quarters. I had to be like 3 or 4 because I remember having to stand on a chair to reach the pannel and shit. Still one of the best games ever

dumbass games on atari at my grandmas. but orginally nintendo games were mike tysons punchout, ninja turtles (The impossible one) and other random nintendo games. computer games were lame ones like number munchers, oregon trail, and Myst and some other MAC game where you would travel back in time and figure out puzzles on who framed you. Time something. was a lot of fun but i never beat it.

First game I ever played was the original Pong. When the Intellivision system came out it was like "omfghowcoolisthis!!".
In terms of computer games, my first was an AD&D title called Pool of Radiance. Completed the game on a 8088 processor with 1Mb RAM (because that's all Bill Gates said we would ever need), a 20Mb HD, dual 5.25" floppy drives, and a 7" vertical CGA monitor.

good o'l intellivsion system lol.
after checking the game list, now I remember- Tron and Burger Time, Snafu. funny shit.
as far as computers though- our first system was an apple II e. I think the first game I ever played on that was some some game where you moved a stick figure around an island, building your army and buying weapons at towns, cant remember the name. But other ones I remember: Zork, Wizardry 1, Bards Tale I, II,III, Karateka, Captain Goodnight, etc. Found this site that you can play a lot of those old games:
http://www.virtualapple.org/
its very buggy though and the site may have spyware? and my virus checker blocked something. but thats what work computers are for <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> .plays right through your browser, just click a-z at the top for the games.

I cant remember for sure but I am almost 100% sure it was combat or Pac-man on the Atari 2600. Those two games came with it when my dad bought it for me in 77 or 78.
