I feel like most of the concerns people had about the Xbox One have been resolved pre-launch. The only real difference now is the $100 price difference. Personally, I feel like the $100 is worth it. The difference between my launch PS3 and its current UI is minimal, while the Xbox 360 has evolved significantly.
I was never interested in Kinect for the Xbox 360 but I think it has potential to be a useful tool on the Xbox One. Check out this video:
I know they have some features to detect who is talking, and all that b ut still... I bet some trolling is going to happen and that feature will be love/hate.
Obs]I thought you were a game tester for xbox at some point?
Not for Microsoft. I worked for EA for a couple years and then Activision before that. My opinion might seem biased towards Xbox, but I would consider it the most unbiased since I have always owned both systems and have worked on both PS3 & Xbox 360 devkits for a long time.
My preference is from personal experience and from being involved on the development side of games. It has always been the case during my employment, that games developed for Xbox 360 and then ported over to PS3. The Xbox 360 game was always superior to its counterpart.
Ah gotcha, although i would argue about putting EA and superior in the same post. When games are developed for one system and then ported to the other, the original is always superior. But if you look at the original ps3 games, they hold their own. The Show, Uncharted, Last of Us, GoW etc.
