PvP is not going to have a very big part in the next round of MMORPGs. Everquest's success far outweighed Ultima Online's and The Realm's.

<br>MMORPGs that come out whose main focus is on PvP lack the content to keep players around for years++. This is a fact. Look at Shadowbane and Dark Age of Camelot. Both games came out years after EQ did.. yet EQ still has a larger player base.

<br>So.. your studio is producing a MMORPG. You could choose PvP based and less money over a shorter period of time? Or you could choose not to include true PvP and makes millions upon millions.

Are you sure Snarf? I havent seen a damm thing about beta yet and i just logged on today... I'll be impressed if it actually makes it into beta.. But the idea is grand.<br><br>

but explain to me why UO will not pop up a pre UO;R server for fun? i mean it could bring back a hundred or so pvpers from assorted servers....just needing one server to redo...<br><br>[color:red]ALERT THE CLUTCH!!!</font color=red>
