LoD: Believe this may be the 2nd time I have posted here but after hearing about Tenshis post I had to come see it for myself in order to believe it but I'll get to that later.
The "fued" between both guilds is funny in my opinion considering the only interaction we have had really is between LoD and Luxford. Our leadership has never spoken to one another and Corruption is probably the first time we have even been on the same server in any game as far as I recall.
Anyhow Im not one for spinning or twisting shit up and will give credit where it is due. LoD did pretty well for itself on Death. Not hard to believe for a guild who I myself recall from the Dreadlord days of Baja who have been together 10 years or so.
Torak and others say we are vapor which doesnt bother us any. We came into SB never tested before, never having played as a guild, and with little beta experience to boot. We were so "carebear" as some would have it that we were able to get the 2nd ToL on Dread working together and were seen as such a threat on Dread that virtually ever major power united against us there in order to take us out. In the end the city was sacked only after a GM gave our enemies who already had every advantage over us early siege weapons, trebs, and bane circle to help them out when no one on the server was capable of making it on their own.
I give credit to those on Dread and to me personally it was a compliment that everyone was after us considering our "vapor" status. In the end we left because honestly I disliked the rest of the server moreso then those who had defeated us because them I could at least respect for bringing it vs the pussies who either betrayed us or didnt want to fight at all.
We are a young guild and when we have been together 10 years or so I believe we too will have alot of good history to look back on just as LoD has today.
Gasmaster: You seemd like a good guy when we ran into one another that one day but bro keep it real and stop the spin because I never said we wanted to sub to LoD ever. I did say we were subbed to Shoon, did mention they booted a few guilds out including our own, and specfically said it was no skin off our backs.
Shoon city was to be built on the backs of the unwary and we didnt play along nor would we dissolve the TB name into subs made by FU so we got the boot. Fine and dandy no complaints or whines from me, I never even asked Shoon why as it didnt matter. Like I said I dont spin shit, nor have I ever trained at the Hades dojo of Tall Tales. I keep it real and hopefully so will you.
Tenshi: Tenshi says we were the first targetted because we were noobs. The shit just dont add up if you really think about it. A whole server doesnt get together to jump one guild unless its seen as a threat as LoD surely knows.
TB has never been about mass recruiting and it even shows on Corruption. On Dread it was done as a last ditch effort in order to try to compete with the huge number difference we faced each day and only done towards the end.
It was a difficult choice made on the hopes of getting enough people fast enough in order to simply survive at the time. Look at virtually every major power on a SB server to have dominated a server and you will see some pretty large numbers counting in the hundreds. TBs city on Dread never saw more then 150 or so tied to its ToL.
Anyhow I am sure one thing both TB and LoD have in common is our vision that a member should have loyalty and be willing to go the distance with a guild through good and bad. The only IC we lost were the ones we picked up on Dread save for Tenshi and to be honest we are better off for it.
This guy stated he knew alot about beta telling me he can build the walls for us. He not only places no ramps on the walls but puts them up backwards. My belief is he caught so much heat from every guild on the server calling him a moron for doing so that he couldnt handle the stress and decided to simply bail on TB before dying from the humiliation of being known as the greatest architect Dread has ever known. As for stealing our gold no such thing ever happened and I believe you are making this up all together to appear "cool" I suppose.
I know many here have a dislike for Luxford but I would rather have Lux on my team over a Tenshi any day of the week. As least with Lux I know he wont bitch out and quit or bandwagon hop from guild to guild, I cant say the same about Tenshi however who I know first hand has done both.
