There is a LOT of things that you will not see if you source your information from one local (ie: EU or domestic). If you do not source and triangulate info, you are not seeing a clearer picture.
IE: right now, with the FBI info pre 9/11, it was reported in 3 foriegn sources and corroborated 24 to 48 hrs prior to WP smelling fresh meat and posting it (followed by NYT). They just jumped on the bandwagon approx 8 hrs after Xin brought it up.
If you don't read globally, then you are in the dark, period. I've worked in the newswire industry about 10 yrs ago, you'ld be amazed at what you miss if you only read one local or one viewpoint.
Although it can be comforting to read the things you want to hear, the truth is not always as nice and cuddly / comfy. If you need "feel good", stick to domestic fare. They'll tell ya what you want to hear.

Ive read both arguments and i am finding sympathetic leanings towards each. I am a full blooded republican, but i am having issues with the invasion based on the sole reason of "weapons of mass destruction". I think i would have felt much better behind the whole case if the Bush team would have just said "He could have weaps, he could have gas, but he is just big zit that needs to be popped" and i would have been behind it 100%.

I was heading out to the Auto Salon at the L.A Convention center and just wanted to throw in no matter what the issue, topic, reason, coincidences or circumstances are nobody, no BODY, corpse, or persons remains should be mudilated in which our soldiers were.
