I find it difficult that anyone would disprespect a person who died doing something for others. The guy was in Afghanistan, where Osama happens to hang out with Al Queda (remember the tools who fly planes into buildings and kill people who have nothing to do with their issues), trying to find the fuckwads and give them lead poisoning (god bless) or bring them to justice.
I don't understand how that student can stand against the U.N.'s decision and agreement about the Taliban.
I'm aware that a huge majority of the American folks who post here despise the U.N. I support the U.N., and I support the US military.
However I support the voice that the other 94.1% of the planets inhabitants have (that silly U.N. thing), and as such, this guy fought on behalf of everyone. The world should give him a nod, as well as all others who have passed in Afghanistan trying to fight real terrorism.
To those that passed in Iraq, I feel for them and their families, and just am concerned that their lives were not spent for the selfish motives of people who never fought a war and in fact did everything possible to avoid being in harms way.

It's a shame that he died, but I dont think it's any more of a loss than all those other people who joined the military to fight for what they believe in. All the special attention he got came AFTER his death, I don't remember any News updates about him JOINING the fight. The media is using him as a tool; a myrtyr for the American cause.
Plus, football players aren't even atheletes, why are they famous??? Had it been a HOCKEY player on the other hand....

Tillman is a fucking Hero. To fight for our country, and fight to bring democracy to another country. That is heroism,. To die for the same cause makes him a legend! I thank this guy for his service and bravery!
