Of course you dont think death is honorable. North and the south fought to abololish slavery, many died. Many had to die to fight for the equal rights we have today. Sure this isnt a perfect country but when soldiers die, its for our country. And you sure as hell better realize that. You said " We are fighting to oppress others and force values upon them" meaning the middle easterners. wtf? I would be glad to pull out all of our aid, troops, money, and close up our borders. But there would be udder chaos in many other countries. North Korea would invade the South, the Middle east would smoke Israel. Middle easterns hate us for a reason? Because we are trying to change there midevil age way of life. You think its fair that middle eastern men oppress the women? You think they enjoy this? Is that worth fighting for? I think the US is the most generous country. We are the only ones that want to share democracy, why? BECAUSE it works.

Arent we preventing maybe a further attack by being in iraq? i think so, whether or not they are an example, i think the other middle easterners think that we now have the balls to go into any country. They will think twice when allowing terrorists to train in there country. And that my friends is what we are doing in Iraq ,right or wrong, they are an example to the rest of the middle eastern countries. I think being in Iraq will honestly prevent terror Cells from gaining power and the taliban to grow. Why? Because no country wants the US to knock at there door with troops and planes. We need to make this example so the US can be a safer, free place.
