you say kerry's views are more in line with what you wrote, but kerrys views are in line with basically everything (being that he cant take a stand on any one single issue)

Now, I personally dont think teachers need more money, because they work 190 days out of the year. Any job were you get 3 months vacation and 35-45 grand a year is a good job.

I would rather spend money on prevention and treatment programs and let people make their own decisions about what to do with their life as we do with alchohol and tobacco."
The people of america already proved they arent smart enough to choose what to do with their lives. Our prisons are so overcrowded with people in jail for life, why not just get it over with and kill them? They will die in prison anyway?
In ways i agree that people should be responsible for themselves, but much of the population has proved they are incapable of doing so, which is why our prisons are so full in the first place.
