Exactly. 9/11 changed many things in how this administration handled its foreign policy. John Kerry was on board with this policy until it was OPPORTUNISTIC to be on the other side. IE he has flipped in order to get elected.
Stretch my point is this. If you look back into Kerrys record on the senate floor from 1991 to 2003 its was consistent. He even blasts Clinton and McKain for there softer stance against Hussein and Iraq. Then low and behold polls start to show that opposition to the war is what most Democratic Party members are leaning towards. Kerry immediately shifts his position. I'll agree for the last year + he has stayed somewhat consistent on the position of the war in Iraq. Whats laughable is his attempt to make the American Public feel that he always had that position.
Now while Bush may not be the brightest of our many Presidents, I do believe that shifts in administration policy after a devastating series of events like 9/11 are not flip flopping. You act like Bush went to war to get a 2nd term. Bush has to run on his administrations record. Why does Kerry in your view get to run on whatever position is popular in the last 400 days rather then the last 4 years or more. Bottom line is this...
I will vote for Bush because he sticks with a few core beliefs about how Americas future should be routed.
I wont vote for Kerry because he doesnt have even one common belief with my political view, His domestic policy ideas are for shit, and he stands up for nothing but his record in a war that happened over 30 years ago.
The bottome line is that my idea of where and how the USA should be spending tax dollars is a polar opposite formthe welfare chairty state that Kerry is proposing. Raising taxes on the rich to support the poor is a core DNP belief. I run my business to make money, when I make money so do my employees. When I make money I hire more people. Its a simple economic cycle.
I dont run my business to turn my profits into a welfare program. Nothing is free in this world regardless of what class/race you are. It comes from busting your ass.
To me its that simple. Bush has turned this economy around. 9/11 and the war on Iraq is not exactly financially sound since government spending is out of control but I see a definte answer in his admins policies on when that type of spending will be curbed. All these things spell a great future for me, my family, my business, my employees, and there families.
Maybe you can ask John Kerry a few questions for me..
When is the last time a poor person gave you a job?
When is the last time a business with no profits was able to provide healthcare to its employees and there families?
and I will ask you a simple question.
If you worked for me, and were doing an outstanding job, better than anyone in the company, but because of poor economic policy the business was failing to be pofitable, do you deserve a raise?
Let me answer it for you. Its my business, if I dont get a raise what do you think the chances are of my employees getting one.
This may be all over the place from where I started. But I take a very plain look at it. How would Kerry as President effect my family, my business, and therefore my employees wealth potential.
