The worst is when companies like Wal-Mart hire people as temps or don't pay them enough for them to afford health care so they end up on medicaid anyway.
Having the US tax payers pay for their employee's healthcare gives Wal-Mart a nice competitive advantage that allows them to keep costs down so they can buy more crap in bulk at impossibly low prices from China to run all of their competition out of business.
Thats a nice fuck you to the small business owner who tries to do right by his employees and provide a reasoable living wage and healthcare.
No wonder we don't have a national healthcare system.
