According to this article in the Miami Herald Chavez has ties with Castro. According to this communist website both Bush and Kerry are equally against Chavez, in fact Bush tried to force a coup against him. http://www.workers.org/ww/2004/venez0902.php I thought the US was pro democracy and anti-communist. Maybe you need to research this one a bit more?
