Doesn't that thought process remind you of the industrial revolution in England?
During the industrial revolution in England, an Indian chief was brought to England to see the wonderfull world. As he looked at how things were (children climbing into running looms and getting munched, then the body is just thrown in the trash), black lung for those working shoveling coal, who die and are discarded) he commented that slaves are not treated so badly, as the workers in England.
The odd thing is that I should be saying "fuck em all, let em rot in the streets" too, but I have a sense of social responsibility.
I'm certain if you queried our resident hardline conservatives, you would see ZERO contribution to such things as the American Red Cross etc.... They for sure feel that is a worthless endevour helping parasites (like in Florida right now).
I, as a foreigner here in the USA, donate every year to the American Red Cross. This year I have done so twice (due to their low cash reserves). I also donate to the Blind here in the USA and other charities.
2 Years ago, I donated 15K to American charities, voluntarily. Last year was very bad for profits, so I was only able to donate 6K.
Where the hardline conservatives are saying "fuck the blind, let em get hit by busses, fuck the handicapped, fuck everyone but me", I as a foreigner am taking care of their countrymen who need help.
All this while they are all for handing out MarsBars in Bagdad which cost $4 due to Halliburton.
Do they hate their own countrymen & women so badly that they'll feed Iraqis before their own? They leave their own to be fed and clothed by foreigners like me.
And they certainly won't thank me or anyone else for doing this, thats an admission of failure of character.
Thats is quite sad really.
