Show me some proof that the CIA funded the Ba'ath party and put Saddam in power. Right now all I see is your claims with nothing to back them up.
The Iran-Contra scandal? Yes, I've heard of it. We sold outdated Hawk missiles to Iran to buy weapons for the Contras in Nicaragua. What that has to do with the CIA putting Saddam in power, I have no idea.
We gave Saddam intelligence in the Iran-Iraq war. The vast majority, like 90%+ of his weapons came from the USSR, not the USA. Maybe you should go back and re-read those history books dude. Look at Saddam's arsenal:
Russian Scud missiles
Russian tanks
Russian, French, and Chinese planes
Russian, personnel carriers
Iraqi-made copies of a Russian rifle
Can you tell me one American weapons system Saddam had?
