If the israelis hit it, the Iranians have stated they'll attack the US troops in Iraq. High likelihood the Iraqis will join them (all Shias).
Syria & Iran will attack Israel. Israel may glass Damascus.
Now add Suadi, Lebanon & Egypt. Afghanistan will errupt too.
That would be a very bad thing.
Despite all the peen waving, there are not enough bullets in the US magazines to cover the Iraqis & Iranians, you'll run out of bullets.
I hope it doesn't happen.
You may hate the U.N. but multiply your nightmare in Iraq by 20, then you are looking at the situation. You don't have enough "credit" to pull a deficit like that, plus it's in their backyard, not yours. Hyper inflation = end of your economy.
