and I have also worked in joint commands for about 6 of those years, so I have seen how every service treats their members.
The Navy honestly treats their enlisted with the most respect. The Air Force comes pretty close, but I just think they have too many rules and regulations. The Army treats their people like shit, and they solve problems by doing shit like instituting blanket policies that affect the whole command when one person fucks up.
The Navy offers great advancment opportunities (I made E-6 in 6 years) and highly technical fields like Nuclear Engineering and Linguistics. Either way you go, the military has become a viable career field. It would be very, very difficult to find a job that offers a highschool graduate 30 days of paid vacation a year, full medical and dental, and other shit...
