and on the question of why reagen was considered such a great president.
He brought around the fall of the USSR, during which time period america had the lowest oppinion rating in the history of our country over in europe. Even lower than it is now, he stood firm in his resolve to take down the USSR and not to back down in the arms race, which eventually bankrupted their governements, and left us the worlds last standing super power. He was one of the greatest presidents of all time, up there with truman and lincoln, but i would agree he wasn't better than either.
