I would agree.
I re-read why I posted and it does come out the wrong way.
What I was intending to say or along these lines is this,
They keep on bashing and flaming you for how you present your argument (for example) or the stance you appear to support. I feel they are trying to force you to see it there way, which is something (that I was trying to communicate, but did poorly), but that is something that doesn't come through force. It is done by choice, expience, understanding, empathy, etc.
Opinions never change if the person is unwilling to change themselves.
