This election put the Democratic Left into a huge tailspin. I dont ever see them comming out. They are not in touch with the american people thats why they lost. They lost all momentum that they gained during Clinton.

You are still an idiot. Look at the Republican party for how many years did they not have control of the senate and house in like the 70's. They will come out, it will take some years until someone grows some balls in the party and did what the republicans did in the early 90's and make an agenda and stick to it.
Once again you are an idiot. If you knew anything they were constantly losing in the Clinton era. The reason clinton won was because he was a moderate, but the democratic party has continued to go farther and farther left to try and compete with the far right. You are right that they have lost touch with the American people, but they will come out of it. It will just be probably another 4 elections until they start to make a come back.

I hold my nose as I say ....
America has spoken, let this now be a time to concede this is what WAS wanted by the majority. As a democracy goes, the US elected Bush, with his record straight to see and know, and therefore this is what they want.
So, rather then have another 4 years of I hate Bush, I'll just a accept this is how the system works, and .... work with that system instead of opposing it.
Congrats to Bush and his team, to those Bush luvers and to the Republicans whom also took more seats in the congress and senate [ far as I can read from papers ].
