You voted for a political party which caters VERY heavily to an evangelical christian viewpoint. As such you have endorsed their views, there is no shame in that. You are entitled to support that view, explicitly or emplicitly.
Roe -vs- wade will be overturned within 24 to 36 months (the changes that have been tabled in the last week regarding confirmations will ensure it), planned parenthood was taken out last term. With the action on birth control pills, family planning will be based on abstinance. Evolution is on it's way out, creationism is on it's way in.
These are domestic agendas of the large populous who support your candidate. As such he (and his party) need to cater to them. Thats just the nature of politics, find an audience and please them.
As such, you have voted for, endorsed and supportted these initiatives. There is no reason to be embarassed or feel ashamed for supporting this change in your nation. You are entitled to do so. Regardless of your personal views (secular or orthadox (though i doubt orthadox, justa guess)) you have lent your voice in support of these changes.
There is a lot of value to the deeply religious folks, so you should feel good that you are supporting something of value. Such as their strong convictions regarding family and their community. Those are good values.
