A breif History UO- LOTD sucked so bad hades joined LOD when he couldnt make the cut he want back to LOTD.
Wrong. LotD opted to retire from UO, and I wasn't ready to retire. Some remained, and that lead to the troll-aph thing which was rectified by my returning and booting their asses out. I was one of the LOD strike leaders of the day when I served.
Shadowbane - LOD RULED THE death server.
LotD helped to form and was a leading guild in the Alliance that destroyed the Rolling 30's on Scorn. Scorn was acknowledged by the SB devs as the most hardcore server of the original set. LotD's accomplishments within that alliance are well documented.
LOD did very well on Death, and I respect that. However we were on two different servers with two different PVP environments. I don't spend time belittling what you did on Death. You claiming to say we didn't do jack in SB when you weren't on Scorn is like claiming to be a rocket scientist, but you only have a social worker degree. Oranges and apples dude.
Shadowbane and which guild had the bigger dick is actually what started the inter-guild rivalry. In the end, neither guild played on the same server so its all a moot point.
Asherons Call - Hades "lets play on a gay non PVP server.
AC1 was a holdover due to failing to estimate when SB was going to initially release. It offered experience in learning how to build large coalitions of people. That experience helped out a ton on SB-Scorn when we formed the alliance that brought down R30.
"WOW - Avoided LOD because we would beat your ass there as well.
LotD plays on the Archimode Server along with some of our friends from Shadowbane. We don't make a big hooplah about it because public forums say everything that needs to be said about WoW PVP, and the consensus is "it sucks".
Again you aren't on Archimode, so saying who isn't and isn't top dog there is ridiculous.
LOTD is nothing more then a LOD wanna be that is mostly focused on PVE. You guys decided to grow some nutz and return to PVP in Guildwars, a game LOD only started to play at retail release............
You guys are good at pulling shit out of your ass and making assumptions based on few concrete facts.
LotD was the first guild in GW closed testing. There are several good PVP guilds in there, and we all try like hell to keep the PVE people from carebearing the fuck out of this game. We are outnumbered 50-1 easily, and the fuckup that Anet pulled at release with the skill system has the whole PVP crowd in an uproar. Unlike the others we don't care about being the most popular, and thus generated a lot of focused hate on the issue.
Jou is a former UO Baja player and LotD GW recruit. I understand his desire to come over here and make a comment or two, but honestly the days of endless LotD/LOD flamewars are over. Since 2001 we haven't even played the same game on the same server, and we've both had different types of opponents.
You fucks can stew over what was or wasn't UO history, but Balinor around here still knows what the fuck the deal is and he's about the only LOD I care to have a regular conversation with.
As for Guild Wars, there is simply no need to smack talk. There is a ranked PVP ladder, and when we both get within the rating scale to compete then we'll both win some and lose some. Tombs PVP is a good build test bed so foaming at the mouth about who owns who there doesn't amount to a hill of beans.
So enjoy Guild Wars, perhaps you'll do well on the PVP ladder there, I believe that its the future of PVP oriented games (like it or not), and enjoy the competition. There are a lot of good PVP guilds grinding up right now so its going to be a fight to stay top 50.
