tenchi get the kawi 636.... its a 600 class... as of course every one said dont get a 250... any reason you hear for reasons not to get the 250 will be true...
not sure why maniak was thinking its hard to learn on a street bike. My very first bike was a 1990 kawasaki 600 ninja
if my advice is any thing... I say you get a cheap used bike to learn on first. to see how you like it and for you to mess up when you lay it down or any thing. Cause some people after there first really scarey moment on a bike will quit riding... then if you get a cheap crappy bike this summer to learn on... then by the end of summer or begining of next summer you can buy a better bike you wont thrash and feel more confident riding on.
I have had a ton of scarey experiences but with experience you learn to deal with them and controll... mine are usually the sudden stops where your sliding in the rain... I use my bike mainly just for commuting soo i can use the carpool lane cause I hate traffic. 15 mins vs 40 mins
o yeah currently riding a 2003 kawasaki zx636r
I say no cruisers those bikes are always soo heavy. and for old men any way.
