Well I used to be in a sub guild of LoD on Death server a while back, played under different characters. I waited for WoW and the pvp lacks. So what game are you guys waiting for? I want some real pvp.

As they say... follow the money. As far as I am concerned, there are no really great pvp games out there right now. It's really a shame that Ubi dropped the ball so horribly on SB in terms of product quality at time of delivery. If that game had been a higher-quality product it could have proven to the industry that serving the public a game primarily designed to be pvp+ is an economically viable option. Instead, it flopped (as compared to carebear games such as EQ) and now what we are stuck with are psuedo PvP games (WoW) and small scale PvP games (Guild Wars) neither of which even come close to satisfying the desire to pwn people...
In a nutshell, the most optimistic thing I can say about PvP at this time is that we are all fucked...

SB now is a billion times better than it was in the time of Death.
Problem with SB nowadays is people refuse to try it. So, even though it's better, people refuse to accept that as a possibility and rely on stubborness to hold them to games like WoW.
Hell, Lok-ri is O.o'ing it out in WoW now. I'd rather slit my wrists than spend the majority of my time in a game killing mobs.

I agree with Moose, but I hope that alor of the ppl that WoW got into MMORPGs will turn to the PvP side and promote more pvp games. I try to be optomistic.

In MMO's WoW is the game everyone is playing and it does have PVP content, not the best but still entertaining.
FPS now has battle field 2.
So I rotate between playing the two.
DARKFALL is our last hope...........

Don't pin much hope on DF. They've been making it since like 2000 and arent even near a beta from everything i've seen. Seems the only people who can even comment if it is real or not are those who work for them.
Dark and Light has promise. I don't like the factioning system though. Telling me who I can and can't attack, like WoW, is for yuppies who want to pretend like it's aPvP game. But, with the size of the world (I can literally stand ontop of a mountain 10,000 feet above sea level and see a town that would be like being ontop of Invorri and seeing Khar) and with hand-gliding and such, it will add a very realistic and unique spin on the PvP. The world is the Death server, x500 in size.
Lots of us are actually in the beta for it, so, i'm pinning more hope on it than Darkfall.

I went to E3 thanks to Dark and Light devs inviting me =D ..... DarkFall? more like VAPOR FALL imo........
yeah.... vamps fucked up SB in a big way, and i would say SB, and DnL are the only mmo's that look to have some what of a good pvp content. all the rest suck ass, and it makes me a sad sad panda
