Though some of what you said was correct, the full allotment of 160,000 troops was not the original strike force for removing Saddam. They beefed up that force around the elections to maintain control. 40,000 units entered the theatre at that time. So in essence, they were added to the campaigne to quell the insurgency.
The rest of what you had to say was correct regarding the withdrawals...
