So you overclocked your 3700 (2200) by 300mhz for $250. Why not just pay the extra $100 for a 4000 (2400) and overclock it 100mhz using the stock cooling?

nah man, that was my first try w/out changing the divider, and multiplier, and shit. also that was on stock voltage. i did that when i had like 20 minutes to fuck w/ it. it's running at 2.8 solid now. i can get 3 out of it, but i have to put like 1.7 volts to the core, which i dont want to do, and i have to relax my ram timings to like 3,4,4,8 instead of 2,3,3,6. but im happy w/ 2.8 at 1.575 volts. i ran super_pi and prime for 15 hours w/ no problems. so it's good where it is.

my temps are the same as my friends temps and he has 3/8" ID. under load at 1.575 volts, my cpu never gets above 40C, at idle it's at 29C. temps arent a problem. that 40C is under the prime95 torture test that makes the most CPU heat.

thx man. ya my friend brian (who i mentioned earlier) has a x2 4400 which is the dual 2.2 and he runs his at 2.6 cuz his chip doesnt OC very well. mine on the other hand, apparently loves it. i got lucky. and being the san diego core helps. i got around 7300 on 3dmark05 and my average FPS on the source stress test is 168. so it's not bad. i OC'd my x850 to 600 core 1200 mem, and the shit is working awesome.

Clean up those wires on the inside, that shit looks like a rats nest. If you're gonna build it yourself, wire it correctly and harness those bitches and then flow them away from the motherboard out of site, that's what I'd do. Your rig reminds me of a nice car that is dirty on the inside and a mess, get er done.
On a side note your desktop background is horrible, that shit would make me have seizures.
