I would also like to add that without a converter on the car with the bigger turbo, I was leaving the line like a geo metro hauling a trailer. I could not build boost off the line ( why the 1/4th times are so low ) but once I built up the boost I ran low 13 trap speeds while running low 14's. With the restalled converter I should run much better times, with tuning I should break into the 12's without too many problems. My future mods will be internals on the engine, perhaps a stroker bottom end and some more transmission upgrades. A stroker bottom end should give me much more low end power and about 25% more torque and with the upgraded transmission internals, I should be looking at another 20-25% gains in 3rd gear torque. only another $2,000 or so for those upgrades which will hopefully be before october. With my raise coming up this week and my bonus in june and whatever other cash I can save, I should hopefully have it by june but I do have a 91 eclipse to fix up and my truck to make legal. I need another ride just incase I pop this one on the track or something stupid happens on the street.
