The components of the unit are quite simple. I disassembled the unit, and found it to be nothing more than what I expected. It had a copper plate a little less than 5x5 inches, with a diamond shaped copper tuner(looks like it was bent with fucking pliers), tuned at 2.4 ghz. Overall the product was a serious mistake. So far it hasn't enhanced any signals I've placed it upon. I've tried configuring the antenna in various places, and angles, it appears the the gadget doesn't work. Rather than taking it back, I will be keeping it for modification purposes.
Just don't buy the Rainbow Wi-Fi Grabber Antenna. I also found the eBay account of one of the sellers of these products on eBay, and apparently the other customers who have purchased this antenna are not happy with it either.
