Having people do tradeskills is really the best way to get non-pvp people to play the game. It is one thing that made UO workable as a pker <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Those screen shots look awesome!! I like how they are pushing trade skills too.. Pure PVP is great, but by adding big incentives and importance for crafters (essentially PvE players) brings back great UO memories.. If they can find a way to really push players to gather resources and make them worth while DF has a chance to hit it big with both PvE and PvP players alike.

killing pvp's and pks is cool, but theres just something so satisfying killing pve's that dont want to be killed. I cant put my name on it...oh wait, now I remember, its called...evil. this game seems to good to be true. I wonder if they will cut any of these features before launch...

I don't think we'll ever get the PK intensity that came with UO again. There weren't many MMOs on the market when UO was out, so everyone played. Now, people who don't want to pvp (or be killable) can decide to not play that type of game. Hopefully there will be enough sheep though, people will have alt crafters, etc.. But, regardless, no one likes having their town pillaged and razed.

If there is no penalty for killing the innocent than its not pkn. I haven't read to much but hopefully there is. If its just roll around and ganking "blues" and if the established PK that kills 1000 without dyiing there has to be a risk/reward/bounty system ala anti rewards/fame for slaying the pk.

the pvp/pking info is here: http://rpgvault.ign.com/articles/671/671809p1.htmlso, yeah there is. and there is a Buccaneer's Den type place for evils too. my question is, if you are an outlaw- can you still get shit/protection from your guild- members, town, etc.
