I'm not sure why you'd think Dean and Edwards are haters. I'd throw out Obama on that list. When asked about inhaling in his autobiography he replied of course he did, that was the point.
And I don't think you can't point out a big name Republican who is on record about reforming drug laws. =/
Dean and Edwards back the DEA's raids on medicinal clubs, doesn't matter what the rest of their views are. I find that just disguisting and grimmy. Edwards even went a step further to tell people in WHEELCHAIRS they can't use their 1st amendment rights and peacefully protest the DEA arrests outside of Edwards offices.
Only Republican that comes to mind is Marylands Gov. Who is still a stickler, but a lot more open to reforming corrupt drug laws. However, not a presidential candidate if that's the criteria we're going for.
