Not to pretend like I'm knowledgeable on this subject; I have a friend whose mother purchased about 5 grand in Iraqi currency. I think the reasoning was that the currency is so cheap that if any improvements are made in their economy it's a profit.
I doubt Levi has a substantial amount of money to dump into this venture. Considering, he spends it all on raid covered oregano!

i am all for speculative investments, but you now have a situation that is dominated by a wartime scenario with nothing to support the currency....zero exports (cept for oil which are traded in dollars, thus no demand for an iraqi dollar), a potential inflation or deflation scenario of the local economy, and what happens if they kill that currency all together and revamp something for the "new" government....
not a good situation......buy a EURO ETF if you want to play the currency market
