I THINK I GOT THE ANSWER!!!!!
Clues given:
1 should be something about the whole painting
2 He said the closest guess was ?fear of open spaces
3 what would you hear if you were inside the painting??
4 Someone made this guess. The painting depicts the Maslenitsa (Shrovetide, the feast on the last day before the Lent ? the Brazilian carnival is the same holiday). It?s one of the holidays with pagan roots, and the celebration involves burning a strawman ? symbolising, if I remember correctly, the ending winter. Now, could it be that you?re the burning strawman?
To which the professor allegedly replied, ?not a strawman ? but close?.
THIS IS THE BIGGEST CLUE ^^^^^^^^^
5 he said the keywords are water and air.
MY ANSWER: THE PAINTER IS AFRAID TO GO OUTSIDE BECAUSE HE IS MADE OF SNOW (HE THINKS HE?S A SNOWMAN AND AFRAID TO MELT)
my reasoning for such: the closest guess what the burning of a straw figure, the proffessor said not a strawman but close? then he said water and air (you combine water and air and get a snowflake at certain tempuratures) from a snowflake you get snow, I think the water and air is the make-up of the SNOWMAN.
There are a lot of other answers i?ve looked over which sound good but the biggest things i?ve noticed is the kids are watching you in the picture like you.
I Think that is the answer.

That is NOT the answer!!! No matter what the professor would lead us to believe. That's the wrong answer!

i think youre insane for thinking any of these pictures are insane .
