Bush's plan for health care reforms from earlier this year was a joke. I was really looking forward to it and when he announced it I was like wtf? It showed how detached he was from reality. I am hoping it isn't a broader "republican" problem. If we can afford the armed forces and the police, why can't we afford healthcare? Cutting out the middleman (MMOs) and having government muscle watch out for vendors being fare I think will save a ton of money and the country will benefit as a whole. Right now everyone can srew the insured because they are too weak.
