I am not a scientist so why would I be required to prove a scientific theory? Since you are an admitted christian I thought you might be able to provide some proof. Pardon me if I am incorrect.

What you obviously don't understand is the basis of faith. We all have faith in something, I have faith in an entity, and you have faith in a theory. Both are equally unprovable, thus the faith factor. As Camz said, organized religion is a fucking joke, most of it involves greed, corruption, money, ect. There are however, billions of people around the world that are not controlled over the "brainwashing" of organized religion. I have faith that the words in a book are true, as the same as you have faith that the reports on a THEORY are true. Most people here have obviously shown their detest for religion, but do you see someone like myself constantly posting shit about the big bang theory or anything of the like? People like you are the ones that give fuel to the religious fire. I mind my own damn business and I don't push my beliefs on anyone. Why don't take the same stance and stop pushing your fucking beligerently athiest beliefs on me, because I have the fucking respect to do the same.

that's a tiny sliver of space that Hubble took a pic of.. each of those swirly blobs or bright dots is a galaxy or sun that's just as big if not bigger than our own galaxy
are you telling me that our planet earth is the center of the universe and we were specifically put here by some all knowing omniscient being who just decided to create billions of empty galaxies just so we'd have something to look at in the sky?
I don't think so. We evolved out of the primordial soup because our planet is covered in water (or ice) and it's is close enough to the sun to warm us without frying us. Everything else along the way is just adaptation. We might as well be cockroaches scurrying around.

When you can list one case of evolution being observed then you win. Dont forget observation is one of the key steps in the scientific method of taking a theory to a law/fact. There has never been a single observed case of evolution.
Beyond that the THEORY of evolution is in opposition the 2nd LAW of thermodynamics

In more understandable terms, this law observes the fact that the useable energy in the universe is becoming less and less. Ultimately there would be no available energy left. Stemming from this fact we find that the most probable state for any natural system is one of disorder. All natural systems degenerate when left to themselves.
If the world and or univivers is in a constant state of decay, how is that being left on our own floating in the cosmos did we manage to beat that Law and evolve, even though it states that we are in a constant state of deterioration. Your beliefs require faith in the unknown just as much as mine.

ya that sounds about right.. pretty sure all suns/stars end up dying, but it takes billions/trillions of years for that to happen, which is plenty of time for bacteria to grow legs, walk out of the ocean, and start posting on the internets

Ahh got ya. I am just looking for the same proof folks are always demanding of the scientific side of things. So far I have nothing but wild accusations and silly faith based excuses.
