Dont lump christianity with the catholic church. As I've always said, organizations created by man if not created based on corruption and greed will eventually become that way. Its human nature, the catholic church was an evil empire that suppressed truth, they wouldn't even allow people to read the bible in their native tounge because they would realize how twisted and backwards that church was. It wasn't until martin luthar did the euro masses have access to Gods word.
The catholics are hardly the only christians to be intolerant of other religions. How about the current war on muslims?
