Coming in October, super hyped up... but its AWESOME. It lives up to the hype. Its a 3rd person shooter, doom style story line and gore with all kinds of cool features and graphics thatll totally zone you into the game for hours.
Pick this up, 2 thumbs way up.

On X-Box Live they had some comic-book style video previews that were pretty badass. Started showing a bit of the story and got me excited for it.

Hating on EA games is standard when they rush every title they've ever made out the door, knowing damn well there is an out of box patch they need to work on before it goes on sale. I have intimate knowledge of this process, trust me. Crysis turned out decent though, so they may be on the road to redemption.
redwood studios EA now has my complete respect.

I read a review about it in GI awhile ago. Looks like it will be a great game it was partly inspired by the movie Event Horizon.
