There are people that blame the product, rather than the individual. I think it is the premise of Goldmund's point.

The gun control debate is the poster child for this type of scenario.

I don't understand your question.

Here is my 2 cents on abortion;

It is the governments responsibility to protect life, liberty and property. In order to protect life, each state should define when life begins and the abortion debate is over. If the state of Massachusetts defines a child at the 3rd trimester or 9 months, so be it. If Colorado defines life at conception so be it. Any abortion performed past these definitions should be called murder, IMO.

It is all individual thought that just so happens to fall into certain ideological categories. Saying "liberals believe Global Warming is man-made" is a true statement, even though not all liberals believe this.

It does not bother me when Stretch throws out blanket statements about "conservatives" because I know he is not talking about me. His statements generally do not encompass my ideology.
