Wild turkey has caused some of the craziest stupid moments of my life. That American Honey one smells ok, but it is still the same shitty whiskey with a new flavor added to it.

amen to that my friend...

lol i hope you guys arent getting this confused, real wild turkey is the nastiest shit ever, but the honey version taste nothing like original wild turkey.

I mean if it was just wild turkey with a hint of honey, i would never have said anything.

If you're into scotch, grab some Oban. Pricy, but worth it.

Wild Turkey? Are we in college still? You want to graduate to full on alchoholic and a taste for the good stuff, I prefer single Malt scotch whiskey. JW Green is a very good one but is overpriced for what it is. Black and red are cheap shit.

The highlands are good and smooth while Islay is more peaty and obnoxious usually. There are good ones less expensive than Green but very good. Here are a couple:

Smooth and lighter: Glenlivet and Glen Fiddich 12 year olds are staples of any collection (with 15 or preferably 18year old as upgrades). GlenMorangie 15 is great and I really like the Balvenie (double wood)while Oban is a treat (a bit more.)

If you are looking for the hardcore Islay stuff, Lagavulin and Laphroaig are crazy.

Hit up Wikipedia and you get a whole shitload of ideas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_bourbon_brands#American_Whiskey.2FBourbon_Brands

and here I thought you were all real men! Green Label Jack Baby or Tullamore Dew! Even with a heart a condition I could probably still drink most of you under the table!
