I understand PeTA's war cry, and I support the changes they've made within farming. Hell, I only buy organic cage free chicken etc (how can you argue about people fighting for healthier meats??), but the point is that for society or rules to change, you need someone with extreme ideas/tactics etc. PeTA fulfills that role just like MLK did for blacks, hippies did for peace/free love etc.

So while PETA may have some unorthodox ways of dealing with situations, in the end the well-being of animals should be taken into account and considered, even if used for food. It's honestly a no brainer.
