first off nobody wants to "see combat" you can look at that shit all day long on here, but its a little bit different when a guy you know gets his arm and leg severed teeth smashed into his throat and is missing his ears with little holes peppering his body in real life. and you gotta do something for him.

and being in the marines i am not trying to take away from ur green beret brother or whatever... but

"He's a green berret and a warrant officer and this is his 6th year of service... he loves his job. "

indeed he may love his job but a warrant officer ? plz son been in 6 years? yeah and hes a green beret.... this might be so... but the only WO i ever see have been in 10+ years...
and if you want to be a medic or rather a corpsmen your brother would know if he was a GREEN BERET WARRANT OFFICER... how navy corpmen work... marine medics are navy personal switched over to the "green side" as they say it... if your looking for spec ops shit... and you can go run around all day with 100lbs of gear on your back go ahead but anyone who just thinks there going to jump into spec ops who isnt in top physical shape or have some basic skills already is a dumbass imo. the spec ops for the marines has higher standards then all the other services... which i know it does..

btw army rangers are the equivalent of basic marine infantry... same training.
