somalia perfect example, everyones seen black hawk down... thats what happened to the army after the marines left because the marines had it on lockdown and the army couldnt handle it after we handed it over to them... go look up your history... the army is used to occupie and the marines go in first to clear it out... just like one of the guys from my company who got killed he got killed just outside our Area of ops on the armys side of things by a roadside ied because the army units area that we were in didnt patrol there shit properly... and yes Navy seals are badasses, basically all im saying is there are shitbags in every branch of service but if you want to go pound for pound the marine corp infantryman is way more highly trained then the army's infantry even with our shitty budget we get from the navy. hence why the marine infantrymen is compared to a quote "spec ops" branch of the army aka airborne rangers.. but either way you look at it spec ops branches are good to go as a whole. just dont expect to have a life of your own because it eats up alot of your time.. if you wanted to be a complete badass this is the route i would take
go Navy enlisted become a corpsmen go green for as much as you can with the marines do a few deployments then after ur first enlistment opt to reinlist into MARSOC MARINE FORCE RECON the badest mofo's around. they are right next to SEALS and GREEN BERETS
