Their targeting system can make or break the game. IMO they should ditch it, I don't need a crutch or a crappy aimbot to rape an FPS. But from what I've read and heard it's not really that bad considering at least you know what the fuck you are attacking lulz. From the ingame videos I've watched, it's much more aesthetically pleasing than Darkfall not to mention it runs a shitload better. And if it's not programmed by a bunch of obese gyro eating greeks it should be awesome. :P



Why would they release in game footage that looks bad? Of course it is going to LOOK good... I signed up for the beta and the concepts look cool but there really is not much to talk about until the beta is out.



Not sure what you're getting at LOL. It's ingame footage, it will either look like shit or it will look good.. When Darkfall released their ingame footage a while ago it looked more dated than DAoC, and now that it's out it still looks like poo. Not that I am expecting the next Crysis in graphics from an indy production. But come on, for example: mana missle looks like something from the original Halo, and the SFX sounds like something that would come out of my speakers when I had Windows 95.

I signed up for the MO beta as well, although I havent been selected for beta with a non-blizzard game in a long time so we'll see who all gets in.
