i got a buddy whos a huge soccer fan. i just go cuz its fun to go. i hear they are playing some european team thats like #1 who beat som eother team that was like on a 25 win streak

The field looked like shit and so did the USA for the most part. Costa Rica handed the US their asses mainly due to LAZY defense and terrible first touches out of the midfield. There were some opportunities for the midfielders to turn a good shot that they completely fucked up. Most of those i can finish in the upper V easy at a full sprint.
It pisses me off to see someone play at a national level with no inspiration. They are representing the country and need to start acting like it. Only a few of them showed any kind of heart whatsoever.

We can hopefully redeem ourselves Saturday vs. Honduras. It's a huge game, as Honduras is 3rd right behind us at 2 in our WC qualifying bracket. We can't afford to lose.

I recorded the game on ESPN HD and when I got home it was a baseball game. Fucking bullshit! We do need to win against Honduras though.

Lex, same fucking thing happened to me, now that you mention it, lol. The game was actually on ESPN2, which showed NFL Live on the Comcast guide. When I sat down to watch and realized it was baseball, I finally turned the game on at the 72nd minute live, so I saw the last 18 minutes of the game. Comcast fuckers fucked up the guide, hoes!
