Health care bill aside, talking about the basic fairness of redistribution's, the financial responsibility my neighbor incurs from health care is not my obligation. Access to health care should be non discriminatory, but the financial responsibility should fall on the individual.

Single payer systems like Medicare and Medicaid are bullshit. Period. Unfortunately once you start these redistribution's the snowball is to large to stop.

Socialist systems like these increase government dependency, which consequently also increases incumbency for this type of ideology. Look at Welfare, 31.5 million on it in 2008 (the most since its resurrection) that number is not shrinking. Threaten to take away welfare and it is political suicide.

Socialism won, not because it is a better system, but because it is a strong parasite.

You live in an industrialized nation in the age of technological discovery. It is the burden of the people to provide for the safety and wealth fare of all of its citizens. I'm not talking about money and politics. I'm talking about being civilized human beings.

Money has no value to me when it comes to somebodies life and care.

BTW, I think Obama's plan is shit. You guys would really hate my healthcare plan. It would involve 20 billion a year to end world hunger and water borne disease\illness in 3rd world countries. Thats 1% of what we gave the banks in bailouts, but most of you don't care about any life outside your white picket fence.

The line item on my pay stub that reads "Medicare" is in itself quasi-socialist. Read about Medicare being a single payer system and you will see it is referred to as a social program, as a redistribution. So for your satisfaction we can call it quasi-socialism.

I don't care if it is partisan or not. Left, right is moot to me. I will not argue the subjective opinion which system is better, or parrot some farce international statistics about quality because it leads us into circles. The debate should be about the bottom line, about fairness.

I believe a system that allows each individual to pay for their own medical is essential for fairness. The end result in our current system is that I pay for others. In a single payer system, I pay for others.

Are you subsidizing your GPA in college? Why not?

Fairness? I thought you stated above you wanted to drop the politics. The issue has nothing to do with Fairness. It has to do with money.

This is what you think:

Do you have money? No. Declined for health care.

Do you have money? Yes, Approved for health care.

What does fairness have to do with that? Clear cut, only people who deserve fair medical treatment are those with money?

Remember, no politics, no bullshit. How is that, fair?
