You start online games on Battle.net and people can jump in your game. I would start games called "Need help in this X Area". The game would fill up shortly after we left town I would PK the party and loot them. You could also join other people games and PK them. You do have to level a toon but there is only like 4-8 players max, I don't remember have not played for a long ass time.
