I'm not sure which class i'll end up playing yet but I do agree the monk looks like a shit character. Maybe they'll prove me wrong and it'll be the new hammerdin or some shit.
As for bots, i wouldn't be surprised if someone had a bot up and running within the first week of the game.
The most fun to be had would to all start together and play together to finish the quest lines. After that we can do the good 'ole loot whoring to the max and rush eachothers new characters
